About a month ago I contacted Kymco and asked them if their warranty would cover my squeaking front brake. Thought I would ask them directly because I don't really trust my dealer. And this was the answer:

Just aquired am M99 and trying to get it running. Been sitting for years. So far I have honed it, replaced the rings, rebuilt the carb, and now I'm trying to figure out the ignition. Trying to keep it as simple as possible. It will not be a restore...
